Why is plumbing demand rising

As more people move to cities, build homes, apartments, offices, etc., all that infrastructure needs plumbing. More building = more pipes, more fixtures, more maintenance. 
Aging infrastructure
Old pipes, outdated systems, leaks, corrosion—these things don’t get better with age. Upgrades, replacements, fixes: all of it needs plumbers. 
Skilled labor shortage/retirements

Many plumbing jobs in the coming years will be to replace retiring workers, not just for expansion.
